Remembering the times when my mom made two eggs for breakfast compulsory for our family. We never get bored of it. Why? She came out with a twist in omelet recipes every day. One of my favorite breakfast recipes is French Omelet. Mom’s recipe has a cheesy and veggie twist.
You will love the classic puffiness, delicacy, and moisture with add-ins in them. Try this recipe. And, your kids will love Cheesy French Omelet Sandwich as much as they relish Honey Chili Eggs.
Ingredients:
Eggs 3
Salt to taste
White pepper powder 1 Tsp
Tomatoes (chopped) ½ cup
Bell Pepper (chopped) ½ cup
Butter 1 tbsp
Mozzarella Cheese (Shredded) 1 oz
Pasta Seasoning 1 tbsp
Mixed herbs 1 tbsp
Method:
- Break the eggs into a deep mixing bowl. Season with salt and white pepper. Beat the eggs well with the help of a fork until the yolk and white come together. No traces of white should be evident. Adding salt at the beginning help eggs to keep moisture.
- Mix Tomatoes and Bell Pepper.
- The entire cooking procedure for the French Omelet used to be done over high heat. I did not find any difference when I cooked on a medium-high flame in my kitchen. Heat a skillet and add one tablespoon butter. Allow the butter to melt but avoid browning it.
- Pour the egg mixture into the pan and swirl to make a thick pancake.
- Things twist from this step. Scramble the omelet with a fork. Like the old method of French Omelet, flip the omelet to cook from the other side too.
- Spread cheese on half the omelet. Sprinkle cheese, pizza seasoning and mixed herbs on the cheese. Crescent-fold the omelet. You can use a generous amount of cheese if you are a cheese lover.
- Hover the pan over a plate and flip the cheesy French omelet onto the dish.
