Try this innovative recipe and I’m waiting to hear how it went. I would recommend homestyle cream cheese biscuits to accompany them for a total cheesy spread.

Is it the same as Puff pastry?

While phyllo dough and puff pastry have the same flaky texture, they are not the same. The difference lies in the fat content, ingredients, procedure, and uses. Phyllo dough is low-fat and drier.  Puff pastry, native to France, is used for croissants, fruit tarts, or palmiers, and phyllo dough is used to make baklava and other Middle Eastern sweets.

Since both reflect each other in flavor sometimes they are used interchangeably. But, we don’t suggest this for an authentic experience as the result may differ greatly from what was expected.
